To: Jewish Family Services 5520 Wyoming NE Albuquerque, NM Attn: Susan Martinez: In referance to our discussion on November the 20th, 2007, I feel it necessary to resign my position as driver for JFS. I had no idea that I was doing such a poor job as a driver. I aplolgize to you, staff, and clients. JFS does not supply any information on location, or directions, which results to talking on a cell phone while driving. I feel it necessary to call clients to get the correct information for Pick up.I feel this is unsafe for both me and the client. I enjoy working with seniors on a one to one basis at a slower pace of travel, alowing time to socialize with them. Seniors do take extra time for loading and transporting. JFS does not alow time for return trips between pick ups which leaves me rushing from one point ot another. To top things off I got a speeding ticket trying to keep on schedule, which could jeopardize my CDL. I have been driving for the Dept. of Senior Affairs for 5 years and have never encountered this problem. I regret having to resign effective November 30th, 2007, which will be my last day. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to drive for you. It was a joyful experience. Sincerely, Ray Martinez:
